"I bought my 1964 XM Ford Falcon 22 years ago from my uncle for $2,000.
He had the car a year off the factory floor with only one owner before him. It was in working order but I didn't have a licence at the time, so I carted the car around for 6 years as I moved houses, saved some money & got my licence back.
I spent $5,000 to get the car in a roadworthy condition, with its original 6 cylinder motor and three speed on the tree.
I cruised everywhere in my Ford until one day I thought 'that's it' I need a V8.
So I kept the interior fully original and modified the motor to a 302 Windsor with a 8 3/4 inch diff, C4 auto with all the running gear to match and a new spray job to go.
I have now recently spent more money on the car adding more grunt to the motor (400hph). Where do you stop?
